Abstract

In addition, the film's two versions have been rendered stroboscopic by the removal of the odd-numbered frames from the left-hand version and the even-numbered frames from its mirror counterpart, and their replacement with either white or clear placeholders. The result is a flickering, rave-like visual experience (warnings for people susceptible to seizures are posted nearby), accompanied by a disorienting stutter on the soundtrack.
