Suspense Film at Plymouth

The gradual dawning of the knowledge that her mother's beloved brother is a murderer on the run from the police is cleverly-portrayed by that attractive young actress Miss Teresa Wright in "Shadow of a Doubt" at the Odeon, Plymouth, this week.

Latest of Mr. Alfred Hitchcock's sensational suspense dramas, it bears the stamp of his artistry in the way in which the tense moments are handled and in the slow unfolding of the plot to its dramatic climax. The unusual angle from which many of the scenes are photographed is a feature. The role of the murderer is well played by Mr. Joseph Cotton.
