PRINCESS GRACE FILM DELAYED

Production of the film Marnie, in which Princess Grace of Monaco is to make her return to the screen, has been postponed for between eight months and a year, Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, the producer, announced today. He said he had requested a postponement because of the short time available between completion of his current production, The Birds, and the announced starting date of Marnie, which was to have been August 1. The Princess had "graciously acceded to his request", Mr. Hitchcock added.
