Synopsis

D.G. Bridson with recorded interviews and statements by Jean Simmons, Bob Hope, Alfred Hitchcock, Sam Goldwyn and other Hollywood personalities. Over two and a half billion dollars are invested in the American film industry. A quarter of a million people are employed in making American pictures. D.G. Bridson has just finished an on-the-spot enquiry into the Hollywood way of life, and in two programmes, of which this is the first, tells of the problems — financial, social, political, and moral — that face Hollywood today.[1]
