Rear Window (1954) - Hitchcock's cameo
Hitchcock's cameo appearance in Rear Window (1954) occurs about 26 minutes into the film, where he is seen winding a clock in the appartment of the songwriter (played by Ross Bagdasarian).
In January 1954, the New York Times had reported that Hitchcock was planning to appear as a "tailor measuring a customer for a suit" in one of the appartments.[1]
